The United States is the third largest country in the world and its population size of about approximately 294 million inhabitants in this country. The US has many insurance plans that provide health care services. The US census bureau reports that in 2003, 60.4% of the population was covered by employment-based health insurance, 26.6% was covered by government-based insurance, while 15.6% had no health insurance at all. Most of the GPD of the United States is wasted on healthcare than any developed nation. Life expectancy is very common as a term related to the healthcare system and is to be predicted that the United States falls on the 24th spot with a total of 70 yrs. Health Insurance are common such as the ones listed: Medicaid, Medicare, and SCHIP among others.
The quality of care varies among a lot of where you live and what type of insurance you have. The US is a world center for the most sophisticated surgical services, and most procedures can be performed with minimal delay. The US is clearly a world leader. But the system is not uniform in its quality of care, and may vary according to type of insurance and to location. Patients in rural areas where there is a shortage of all types of healthcare personnel, and patients who have no or inadequate insurance coverage, get care below the national standard. Uninsured patients may have access to ER care, but unless they require immediate hospitalization, may get little or no follow-up care. The new health reform if passed has been said to help a bit on the economy as it will have lower cost true or false? The answer is, first we will have to wait if the reform is passed or not? Health care delivery poses unique challenges in rural communities. Provider shortages are particularly acute in rural America, where levels of educational achievement are generally lower and there are fewer opportunities to receive medical training. Unemployment and un insurance rates are higher in rural areas than elsewhere. What provisions in the various reform proposals affect rural health care? What particular challenges need to be overcome in order to improve care delivery in rural areas? What aspects of health reform will require special accommodation in rural areas? Obama has made promises that are empowered under this country and yet oath the best with his right hand we will just have to wait and see if he is a false!
The reform is tough who will want to pay for the uninsured? There is many who is not pleased with this “new thing” many causes can contribute as there is many changes to be made. Many are thinking that is a bad idea taxes will go up and it is to be said that the US will never be alike when Clinton was president will we get to that point or fall short, matter of fact we may overpass but yet the road is tough. The reform is on process right now but yet do the people have say in this? "The minute the president signs this bill, his approval will go up. Within a year, when the good things begin to happen and the bad things they're saying will happen don't happen, approval will explode," Bill Clinton’s quote on august when the reform was coming about! Whenever and wherever the reform is passed we will just have to wait for the best.
